Okeydokey, so last Friday we finally had our big exhibition at Bleed. Lots of people, lots of drinks and lots of good feedback. But I'll write about the details of that some other time. For now, here is my contribution: a series of three 50x70cm canvases, digital print on white high gloss aluminum – very fancy stuff. All the exhibited work was loosely based around the concept of 'Brave' as well as the visual guideline of incorporating geometrical forms into our images.

Hehe, looks like I'm finally getting some work on this blog again. This one's for a design-your-own-deck competition. Didn't win but still...

But I think, I wanna make this one bigger...

More good news: I coincidentally found out today that I – among many others – have been credited in the exquisite book Tactile by Die Gestalten as part of the 'Titel der Dinge' project, which was completed over 1 1/2 years ago (!). It's just a small notation, but hey, I'm happy :D

In addition to that we're having a beautiful late summer in Oslo right now – lots of sun, mild temperatures around 20° and no wind. Yupp, today is a good day...

My first project at Bleed – a pair of custom sunglasses for Brazilian brand Evoke – is finished and the pics are already online. Check the website under 'Creepy goggles' for more images / details.

Ok, it's all done now - last two layers of varnish, griptape on top and trucks on the bottom (2 hour battle!). The first ride was as smooth as silk ;)

Graphics are done. Tada.

Okay then, after having smoothened out the edges I carved out some pockets to add some turning space for the wheels. Then I wood-stained and varnished the board. I borrowed some trucks, bearings, wheels and risers from Felix, who still had some spares and this is the way it looks now. Only things missing are the griptape and some ubercool graphics on the bottom :D
