Man, I wish I could've been there – the opening event of Warp's Warp20 anniversary tour kick-off event in Paris last May. Perfect selection of artists/music and from the looks of it, a really good party. Too bad the few remaining concerts will probably also be somewhere far beyond my reach :P
Sometimes – very rarely – I wish I wasn't so tall. If that were the case, maybe I would have picked up riding BMX at one point or another. At my height it's just a bitch though. But hey, I can still watch the ubercool videos :)
Damn, I love the work of Universal Everything and russian motion design young-gun Maxim Zhestkov. First, a part of the new six piece set of identity videos for MTV done by the former. Second, a personal project done by the latter for the former. And third, another part of the MTV identity, just as cool. Enjoy :)
As a thank you for bearing with me through this shitlong text (one of the top 5 longest ever written on this blog, I think) I've compiled the visual crème de la crème of this years OFFF conference in video form. An arrangement of finest moving image: OFFF 2009 Sponsor Titles by Onesize, U.V.A.'s stage visuals for Chemical Brothers' gig at Trafalgar Square last year, the short 'Western Spaghetti' from PES, a Gnarls Barkley video by Chris Milk, Re:Nascent's current showreel and the 'True Blood' opening titles from Digital Kitchen. Enjoy – and be patient, might take a while to load everything :D
