Man, I wish I could've been there – the opening event of Warp's Warp20 anniversary tour kick-off event in Paris last May. Perfect selection of artists/music and from the looks of it, a really good party. Too bad the few remaining concerts will probably also be somewhere far beyond my reach :P

Sometimes – very rarely – I wish I wasn't so tall. If that were the case, maybe I would have picked up riding BMX at one point or another. At my height it's just a bitch though. But hey, I can still watch the ubercool videos :)

Damn, I love the work of Universal Everything and russian motion design young-gun Maxim Zhestkov. First, a part of the new six piece set of identity videos for MTV done by the former. Second, a personal project done by the latter for the former. And third, another part of the MTV identity, just as cool. Enjoy :)

As a thank you for bearing with me through this shitlong text (one of the top 5 longest ever written on this blog, I think) I've compiled the visual crème de la crème of this years OFFF conference in video form. An arrangement of finest moving image: OFFF 2009 Sponsor Titles by Onesize, U.V.A.'s stage visuals for Chemical Brothers' gig at Trafalgar Square last year, the short 'Western Spaghetti' from PES, a Gnarls Barkley video by Chris Milk, Re:Nascent's current showreel and the 'True Blood' opening titles from Digital Kitchen. A nice little vid from one of my newfound favorites: the dynamic duo of Matt & Kim from NY. These two seem to be oozing energy and happiness from every pore, almost like Gregg Gillis. Too bad, I'm gonna miss their gig in Oslo in a month :(

Cool trailer for a relatively new snowboard flick by Nitro and Zimtstern called 'Gather & Ride'. Interesting touch to have D'n'B as background music. I'm guessing the industry is trying to broaden it's view as Quiksilver also just experimented with rather unusual sound (Black Metal) in their trailer for 'That's It That's All'.
